Marie, mum of 4, is a midwife, practicing public health nurse and reflexologist.

As a mother myself,  I understand how the transition to parenthood can be daunting, especially the first time round.  I have a passion for supporting new parents during this wonderful and fulfilling and sometimes anxious time in their lives.

I have over twenty years nursing experience, qualifying in midwifery in 2000. I have been working as a Public Health Nurse since 2004. I also provide antenatal classes to expectant  parents, preparing them for labour, birth and giving them the skills to care for their newborn baby.

Through my own professional and personal experience of four pregnancies and labours, I have learned breathing and relaxation techniques which work, and am delighted to be able to share these techniques, along with all the information required to prepare parents for labour and birth. Having first-hand experience of breastfeeding and caring for my own children, I take a practical, yet nurturing approach to motherhood.

I am also a registered reflexologist with a special expertise in fertility, maternity and baby reflexology. I work with mothers in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters of pregnancy, relieving common pregnancy symptoms and preparing mothers for labour and birth in the last 2 months of the pregnancy. I offer reflexology to babies and mums post natally, and take great delight in teaching parents and grandparents reflexology for their little ones.
